Representatives of 28 European countries meet at ESS IT “Consequences of the GDPR on the exchange of microdata for intra-eu trade statistics (MDE)” Workshop 2019 to share experiences regarding the management of the incidents when exchanging microdata between states will be shared as well as information about the laws, processes, best practices and tools required to handle these incidents.

2019 Workshop will focus on:

  • The consequences of GDPR on the exchange of micro-data between Member States in the domain of external trade.
  • The application to the microdata exchange process
  • The actions in relation to a breach of confidentiality and how to handle such case regarding also responsibilities
  • How should the DPOs in the different Member States manage the personal info and how should they react in a case of breach of confidentiality

ESS IT “Consequence of the GDPR on the exchange of microdata for intra-eu trade statistics (MDE)” Workshop 2019 will take place in Málaga from 25th to 26th September. Two days of working sessions and activities to share experiences regarding how microdata is collected, managed and delivered and what is being done when an incident happens; who to communicate?, how?, what data must be sent? etc.
